I assume the configuration of the information sources is done in the section "Options". What configuration possibilities does the system support? What happens in the section "Layout"? Thomas Hendrickx
We don't have much detail on that one yet but you can definitely do tasks like these: adding new feed sources, new key words to the pool to pick later on, your account settings etc...
So these are some of the possible functionalities. But we will definitely work that out more in detail. Maybe you can give us some suggestions :D
I can't seem to find for which device(s) your application is. This has a (huge) impact on the UI. If you go for tablet or mobile, you might have too much sidebars. Try to make the storyboard a bit more like a user story. It's easier to read if it's a story of a person using your application.
Perhaps it's not entirely clear, but our intent was to sketch a browser interface. You could use this on your mobile, in which case you are right of course. It's more intended for use with a 'classic' computer. About the story: actually, there is a logical flow in the screens. The written text underneath clarifies which actions a user is performing. Less clear, there's also the arrow with circles indicating a click (e.g. in 2, 4 or 6)
Is your intention to sort every incoming message in the cluster for which the filter matches? And have you yet any idea how people can specify these filters?
Every incoming message can be placed in one or more clusters according to the criteria we have set in our filter databank. Filters can be created, edited or deleted in options menu.
In your scenario, you say that messages get a lower rank with increasing lifetime. For deadlines, it is the other way round. How will rankr know which one is a deadline or a regular message?
Also, the theme makes it difficult to see the storyboard in real size. A direct link to the full-size image might be preferable.
A minor remark, but wouldn't it be better if the actions from the 'Actions' menu would be presented as clearly visible buttons? Having to open a menu every time you want to do one of those pretty common actions, may seem a bit tedious to me.

It's not 'Layout', but 'Log out'.

You have to specifically tell the system that the message should be put in deadline. And system will save it in deadline section.
DeleteFor full-size image click on the image itself :D
